Joanna’s Story
Joanna Hodgson is the owner of Mirror Mirror Hairdressing Redditch Ltd which she began 23 years ago. Blinking Violets Limited was born some 12 years later and is a separate business upstairs offering beauty, nails & body/ear piercing. Joanna specialises in classic ladies hairdressing, barbering & perming with over 35 years experience. Joanna works in salon mainly on Saturdays now & looks after the marketing, answering calls & messages after hours.

Amy’s Story
Amy is one of our hair salon managers. Amy has gained a wealth of experience for over 16 years in the hair & beauty industry. She is a self confessed hair geek who continuously updates her skills through courses and tutorials. The go to girl for funky colour as well as the popular balayage & foiliage. Specialises in both long & short hair, also perms. Amy is also fully trained in body/ear piercing, waxing, brow shaping & tinting.

Sam’s Story
Sam works alongside Amy managing the team and ensuring clients get the best service. Sam is a highly skilled senior stylist, with over 22 years experience in all aspects of ladies and gents hairdressing, both long and short styles, there’s little she doesn’t know about hairdressing. Sam also specialises in hair extensions & Brazilian blowdries & qualified in body/ear piercings.

Kortney has 10 years experience in ladies & gents hairdressing, specialising in balayage and foiliage, long and short hair. Kortney started her career as a barber but soon found a love for ladies hairdressing. Kortney has worked in our hair salon for many years and is a valued member of the team, loved by all.

Libby Dell is full time and one of our younger hair stylists who’s grown in all aspects of ladies hairdressing. Recently qualifying in hair extensions. Libby is favoured by many clients and has vast colour knowledge.

Our younger stylist Emma has returned after qualifying and gaining experience working with a number of top stylists around Redditch & Studley. Emma is an excellent colourist and dedicates herself to her work, also qualified in hair extensions. You won’t be disappointed in the results!

Working at blinking violets above mirror mirror, home to employed & self employed stylists and therapists. Laura specialises in lashes & microblading. Also offers gel manicures and brow services. Laura used to be full time but we proudly say she training to be a paramedic So unfortunately comes in when she can. Experienced and excellent at the services she offers, you won’t be disappointed.
